how can I get my travertine floors to shine?
My travertine floors are dull and I am not sure what kind of polish or wax to use on them..

You can use some ready to use polishing cream, like marble polish.
It restores original high gloss marble, onyx, and travertine floors, and will remove scratches and wear spots.
If you apply any sealer that would make it look even more dull if posible, so dont!
Maybe you just you need to restore the original luster of your travertine floor with an specific floor machine, with the right grinding elements and, finally the right polishing pad and powder or compound. Of course you will need a professional stone refinisher!
