How to remove grout tile unsealed travertine?
Our plumber tiled our bathroom with travertine tile, did not seal it and then used sandstone grout which stained the beautiful tile an ugly green.
We’ve tried using delicate clean-up solutions but the stains aren’t coming up. Should we use something more aggressive that might harm the polish and then polish the stone seperately.

There are some movers grout over OTC and powerful cleaners, but I have second thoughts as to if they ll even touch such transfers and grout stain. This type of stone is very porous, it has most probably lost.
If the plumber said he could do such work (which doesn t fall under his license) is liable to replace ment. .

Richard, I removed the grout from tile in two rooms in my house. I used a Dremel with a grout Attachment Remover.
The attachment even sets the correct angle for setting the stone to grind the grout.
It was very quick and efficient. I thought it would be tedious and time consuming, but I was wrong. I completed my kitchen (medium size) in about 30 mostly minutes.Vous Just Push or pull the grinding stones along the line of grout and the supprime.Great tool. . . Good luck
