How to get black grout bask in dying my travertine?
I at endure decided on the tile plus the grout for the cause that my back splash. Subsequent To uncountable hours at tile stores.
At Some Rate its black grout in adding to tan/brownish and sallow travertine! I didn’t assume anything of it in anticipation of I was understanding anything about grout dying ceramic tiles!!
Is there anything I would do to seal the travertine or anything as a effect I dont dye it grey or various odd color as shortly as I’m grouting?

For unsealed tile they make a grout bag avaialable at any hardware store that is similar to a cake piping bag..Even a cake piping bag will work..You have to individually grout the lines one by one instead of smearing over the entire tile..Heres a link and picture

For a travertine backsplash I’d advise against black grout.
It will really accentuate every imperfection in the tiles, and in you setting of them (your groutlines need to be absolutely perfect and consistany in size)
If you really are dead set on that color, seal the travertine with an impregnating sealer. I like 511. Blue bottle, home depot carries it. 1 small bottle will seal your backsplash several times over. Do 2 nice coats following directions, then grout, then seal once more after grout has cured (3 days after grouting) so you don’t mess up the groutlines with dirt/oil and make a mess every time you wipe the backsplash down.
